Solaris Flares Capture the Field – From The Oscars™ to Kenny Chesney

The amazing new, super-bright Solaris Flare RGBW combination wash/strobe/blinder is here, there, and everywhere, featured in a variety of this year’s high-profile productions:  The 85th Academy Awards; 55th Grammys; 2013 Miami ULTA Music Festival; and Kenny Chesney’s No Shoes Nation tour.  From TV/film, to festivals, to concert tours, to architectural lighting the superior 1000-Watt brightness, efficiency, and savings of the Solaris Flare are recognized by leading designers everywhere.

Flares are seen in packs, replacing even greater numbers of conventional strobes, wash lights, blinders, and color scrollers.  This month 100 Flares lit up the Miami skyline at Miami’s ULTRA Music Festival.  Kenny Chesney’s current tour replaced 105 conventional strobes with Solaris Flares for superior performance and significant savings.

“The economy of the Solaris Flare is indisputable,” says David Haskell, President and CEO of Morris Light and Sound.  “By switching to Solaris Flares on the Chesney tour, we dropped two 400A services and added the capability for more color washes, saving on material, freight, labor, and time.  Ultimately our choice was performance-based:  Flares can be infinitely latched, and the LD can mix effects between wash and strobe within each unit!  We couldn’t be happier with the performance – they’re brighter than anything out there, with richer colors to boot!”

Nashville-based Morris Light and Sound is a full-service production and integration company, with 25 years of excellence in audio, video, and lighting services for live events, tours, and fixed installations.
