Get hands-on with the cutting-edge Hippotizer, the industry's favorite media server! Hippo School workshops are designed with the intention of educating the attendees in the ways of Hippo, giving them everything required to set up and program a show. Hippo School has drawn great interest from companies and designers within A/V, Lighting and Production, and the feedback has been extremely positive.

"It is a great way to pull together like-minded Hippo Enthusiasts for a day of media server mayhem," said Green Hippo's Head of Training, Simon Harris. Each person brings their way of working to the table and everyone leaves with far more ideas than they would have from one-to-one training."

The workshop environment of Hippo School is proving to be a fantastic way to train because people work at different speeds and have different expectations from the day. The workshop format ensures everyone gets what they want from the day, whatever their requirements or line of work. With an interesting mix of industry professionals, creativity is compounded, and complex timelines and intriguing design ideas are passed around the room.

Classes are taught by qualified TMB and/or Green Hippo personnel. Target Audience: Lighting designers, video designers, and console programmers who want to learn how to use a cutting-edge media server for media solutions. Working knowledge of media servers is essential.

Attendees must pre-register as these popular events are limited to 12 persons. Focused hands-on training is achieved with no more than two persons per machine. Hippo School is an advanced course suitable for programmers and professional designers only. Each class is eight hours, typically 10AM to 6PM. Lunch and refreshments are provided.
